This is the Exceedingly Rare 1812 First Ever Stereotyped Holy Bible in America!!! This Rare Bible was a gift to Revolutionary War Lieutenant ISAAC HICKMAN from Canaan Pennsylvania by the Wayne County Pennsylania Bible Society and is Signed by Lieutenant Isaac Hickman! Isaac Hickman: Born June 4, 1757 at Great Egg Harbor, New Jersey. Died August 15, 1843 at Battle Creek, Michigan. Member of the Gloucester County, New Jersey Militia in the American Revolution. Volunteered in April 1776 and served under Captain John Somers and Colonel Richard Somers with the New Jersey Troops for four months. Assisted in building Nud Fort on Somer's Point and was in several battles against the British one of which was at Absecum. Later Volunteered again in November after the British took Philadelphia as a Lieutenant under Captain Samuel Snell and Colonels Somers and Hillman in the New Jersey Troops and served three months. A few days later Volunteered again as a Lieutenant and was in a battle against the Hessians. In 1778 he volunteered once again and served one month as horseman and guarded the shores from Somers Point to Chestnut Neck. !!!ATTENTION!!!
