Description: This scarce and colorful card is one in a series of 60 Bird cards issued during 1896 by the Church and Dwight Company entitled "Beautiful Birds, New Series" designated as J2 in Burdick’s American Card Catalogue. This card is # 16 in the series and features CRESTED TITMOUSE on the front, There are a few different variations of this series. This variation features a "pebbled or textured" front surface to the card, the round Arm & Hammer Brand Symbol on the front, and the CHURCH & CO. New York Address Variation on the back. The card measures 3 by inches by 2 inches approx. The Card does have some corner wear, but is free from major creases. I have scanned the front and back of the card fairly large so you can determine the condition for yourself. This card would make an excellent gift for anyone interested wildlife in general.
