Containing a total of approx. 180 gelatin silver photographs, plus a couple of real photo postcards. Pasted mainly to rectos of card leaves (versos blank), but with some also pasted on facing verso page. Mainly b/w, with a number of sepia. Green cloth album, string binding. First leaf designed as title page with panoramic 2-part photograph (of Bude), dated 1929. Another 'half title page' further in, with Fowey in red letters, dated 1931. Neat captions throughout beneath each image on the mounts in white india ink. The last date in the album is 1936. Size: album - 30cm x 18.5cm / photographs - mainly approx. 11 [and 11.5]cm x 6.7cm, with a few smaller e.g. 8.5cm x 6cm and 10.7cm x 6.5cm, or larger e.g. 13.5cm x 8.5cm.Very Good condition. All present and complete, with no signs of any removals or excisions. Photographs well preserved, with only a few instances of minor fading scattered throughout the album. The sepia toned images as usual with slightly more pronounced fading. Light curvature to leaves and the boards. Minor crease on inside of front cover.
