Description: This is an official 1934 program (see pictures) from the football game between MICHIGAN and ILLINOIS, played in Ann Arbor on October 27, 1934. Illinois beat Michigan by a score of 7-6. This program includes multiple player pictures--including future PRESIDENT GERALD FORD and legendary WILLIS WARD. This program is 32 pages in length and loaded with great pictures, articles, and statistics. FIELDING YOST was Michigan's athletic director, and HARRY KIPKE was the head football coach (both pictured). It is clean and intact, exhibiting significant wear and creasing from handling and storage over the past 90 years. Many pages are frayed or gnawed on the edges, and there has been a picture or article cut out on Page 23-24. Except for a few check marks, and the score of the game written on the front cover, there appears to be no handwriting in the program. The condition of the program has been reflected in the listing price. It would make a nice addition to your own collection, or it would make a wonderful gift for that Gerald Ford enthusiast, Michigan or Illinois fan, or vintage publication collector in your life!
