Description: This is a block of 4 of the 1d stamp plus a single of he 1 1/2d and 2 1/2d on a registered cover to Cincinnati, Ohio. The stamps are cancelled ST JOHNS 7 August 1935. On the reverse are 2 strikes of the usual NEW YORK REG'Y DIV transit mark of 19 August 1935 and a CINCINNATI receipt mark of he following day. The cover has been slit open at the top. I am also selling matching covers with blocks of he 1 1/2d and 1/- SJ stamps.I hope the general condition is apparent from the 600 dpi scan, but please do contact me with any queries.
