Description: Excellent, near mint, 1941 Martin C-1 F-Hole in Sunburst. All original. This is a very clean example of a guitar that Martin did not make a ton of. Currently strung with flats, this C-1 has a very balanced and warm tone, warmer than one might think even for Martin. Probably one of the best feeling and playing necks and setups I’ve felt on a Martin archtop. Can get very loud and project, while also staying very dynamic when fingerpicked. Comes equipped with an even more rare Martin tailpiece. I’ve never seen a tailpiece from Martin like this. Frets feel nice and buttery. Tuners work as they should. Pretty hard to find any scratches on this example, as it was kept very well by Fanny’s in Nashville. Comes with pictured hard shell case. Willing to ship or drive a reasonable distance.
