1950's IDEAL Saucy Walker POSIE with Magic Knee Action 17" Vintage Doll Toy

Description: IDEAL Saucy Walker POSIE with Magic Knee Action 16”-17" Vintage walking Doll. Delightfully darling, lovable, and sweet, this is a vintage, original, c1954-57. Posie has long, dark, rooted, Saran hair that can be "combed, brushed and waved." She has cherry red lips and big blue eyes that close to sleep. This doll has a unique, life-like vinyl face and head with a thick, hard plastic body. What really makes this Saucy Walker doll stand out is her bendable "praying knees" which are not a characteristic of all Saucy Walker dolls; this Posie version is known as a "praying ' doll. The advertisement for Posie read: ''Pretty Posie of a hundred lifelike poses''. She is between 16 and 17" tall (I’ve seen her advert as both). This doll is in clean, excellent, vintage condition for her old age. If you look very closely, you can detect a tiny flea bite in the side of her nose which was likely from a bubble in the mold during manufacturing. I can find no issues other than her arm joints seem a bit loose. Posie's hair is all intact and in good condition. Her eyes open and close as expected and her eyelashes and lip color are like new. Posie's pin hip joints seem to move smoothly and her knees bend as they should. Her cryer seems to work, although I'm not sure how it was meant to sound originally. I don't know how her walk function should operate; I was not able to get her "walk" so this may not be operational or my expectations were too high. Please look closely at the pictures as they are the best indicator of the condition of this doll.
