Woolson, last Union Army veteran of the Civil War still speaks in a booming voice that belies his recent bouts with lung congestion. The former soldier drummer boy has outlived 2,675,000 of the boys in blue. Albert Henry Woolson was the last known surviving member of the Union Army who served in the American Civil War; he was also the last surviving Civil War veteran on either side whose status is undisputed. Photo is Dated: February 10, 1956. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC PHOTO, NOT A COPY OR SCANS. Photo Measures Approximately: 8 x 10 Inches. THERE ARE FEW MINOR CREASE MARKINGS.
