Germany - Occupation (Berlin wall crisis) This is the U.S. Army ambulance and crew which was sent to Checkpoint Charlie in West Berlin today after meeting of the three western sector commandants with Mayor Willy Brandt. None of the ambulance's crew is identified, however the officer, second from right, is said to be the doctor. A U.S. spokesman said the ambulance would be ordered into East Berlin to aid any refugee wounded by Communist shooting.
