Description: Handsome fold-out 1967 Chevron road map of Idaho, printed more than 55 years ago. The map opens to 27" x 18" and has great detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by H.M. Gousha. There's a touring guide on the reverse side, with photos and text on the Cataldo Mission, Stanley Lake, the Bitterroot Range, Yellowstone National Park, Shoshone Falls on the Snake River, and Pend Oreille Lake. The map was distributed by the Standard Oil Company of California in 1967 to promote its Chevron brand, and it is dated in the legend. The code number in the lower margin is 9-OO. The cover graphics include a blue Chevron Standard gas station sign, with three scenic views. Condition: This map is in very good condition, bright and clean, with no rips, tears, or writing.
