Flared steel drop bars, 650Bx47 IRC Boken Plus tires, tubeless with Orange Seal Endurance sealant. Cantilever brakes front, U brakes rear. 3x7 half-step-plus-granny drivetrain with Suntour Command shifters. Fork has horizontal dropouts for adjustable rake, with 4 indexed positions. Custom fillet brazed 4130 racks front and rear. For reference, it will clear a 27.5 x 2.2 Maxxis Ikon in the rear, if you shave the side knobs a little. Fork looks like it has a little more tire clearance than the rear. Frame Measurements:Seat tube is 22.5" center to top, 20" center to center.Top tube is 22.5" center to center. Drivetrain: 48 biopace, 44 biopace, 24 round. All rings in good condition, low wear. YBN SLA-H8 chain from Molten Speed Wax. NOS 12-28 Suntour cassette,installed at the same time as the new YBN chain and only ridden a couple hundred miles. Suntour Command shifters, friction front, indexed or soft-indexed rear. Derailleurs are Suntour XC LTD. Crankset is a 165mm Spa Cyles TD-2 110/74 triple. Front hub: Specialized 28h with 9mm thru-qr skewer. Cartridge bearings are still perfect.Rear hub: Suntour XC Pro Grease Guard 36h with 7 speed non-microdrive freehub body. Bearings are not perfect, but are as good as they were when the hub was new (NOS, built up and installed same time as cassette and chain were replaced). Grease ports for flushing with fresh grease while still assembled. Cartridge bearing non-drive-side, cup and cone drive-side. Tires are IRC Boken Plus 650Bx47, low wear. Fast and supple. Front rim is 650B, built up with gorilla tape to a tubeless profile. Rear rim is a 700D from the original bike, built up with gorilla tape to a tubeless profile, fits 650B tires just fine. Orange Seal Endurance sealant. Both rims have almost all of their wear life left ahead of them. Brakes and levers are all original Dia-Compe. Front brake pads are Kool Stop salmon. Seatpost is Kalloy 4130 Heat Treated (decal has worn off). Rear brake routing is internal, but runs through an internal tube, making cable replacement easy. Bar tape was an experiment with leather. Racks are fillet brazed 4130 tubing, 3/8" O.D. and .046" wall thickness, except at the bends in the front rack top plate and the ends that have been forged flat and drilled for atachment bolts. Wall thickness in those areas is .083". Due to the direct attachment, triangulation, and lack of adjustability, the front rack is very sturdy. I have had 35+ pounds on it without any problems. Tubing ends have been capped with machined acetal/delrin plugs, which can be pulled out if you want to stick anything inside the tubing for attachment reasons.
