Arizona Ship This is an original press photo. Jim Lawson, Survivor of Pearl Harbor - 4303 Seminole in Pasadena. We need environmental portrait of Jim Lawson at his home, maybe seated at his kitchen table. He was the last enlisted man off the U.S.S. Arizona before it blew up and was plucked from the flaming oil covered waters of Pearl Harbor by an officer's barge, escaping the terrible burns that killed many. I'm not sure what props he might have available except for a booklet of the U.S.S. Arizona, which does have a small "portrait" of the battleship in it. Jim Lawson was a 19 year old gunner's mate when he was plucked from pearl Harbor's waters after jumping from the sinking USS Arizona. HoustonPhoto measures 8 x 10.25inches. Photo is dated 11-06-1991.
