The strut spacers install on the top of the strut assembly once this has been removed from the vehicle and the coil spring spacers must go to the upper spring perches and then secured with the bump stop mounts using the included hardware. ARE THE SPACERS COATED? Yes, the spacers are Teflon Coated and will never lose its finish. Anodized aluminum kits will change color over time. Painted or powder coated steel chips and takes out chunks of the finish. However, Teflon resists all of the elements plus gives you a hard coating that is scratch resistant and will last forever. WHICH HEIGHT COMBINATION DO I NEED TO LEVEL MY TRUCK? The best way to determine which kit you need to level your truck is to measure your current front and rear ride height from the center of the axle to the top center of the wheel well. Subtract your front and rear measurements from each other, this is the FRONT lift amount required to level the vehicle. Add height evenly front and rear to level AND lift.
