You can test the turning by marking one side of the egg with an x and seeing if your incubator turns it. We ship each egg very carefully, but please let us know if you have any issues regarding your order. This breed is an excellent egg layer when fully grown (about 300 a year!) and mild-tempered. These domesticated ducks can not fly more than the occasional foot off the ground. Spend time with your ducklings and they will love you. PLEASE NOTE: Crested ducks often hatch with a great big puff of feathers on their head, but they can also hatch with a small puff or none at all. This is entirely up to genetics and nothing we can control.
