2005 Fender FSR American Deluxe Vintage Player ’57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar

Description: 2005 Fender FSR American Deluxe Vintage Player 1957 StratocasterVintage Blonde Electric Guitar Made in USA Includes: Guitar, Case Candy, Hangtags, Strap, Cable & Tremolo Bar. I purchased this guitar brand new from a local music store in Honolulu. I have never played this guitar; I just added it to my collection. There is still the sticker covering the hole for the tremolo bar on the bridge plate that has never been inserted. Much of the light nitrocellulose finish has seeped into the gorgeous ash body leaving a rippled look over the entire body. This effect mixed with the translucent thin-skin Vintage Blonde color is desirable and allows the wood to breath which enhances the tonal character of the guitar as widely believed. The gold hardware is in really good shape. The lower frets are tarnishing from sitting in the case and the strings should be changed. The neck has the factory setup with low action and appears to be more of a modern ‘C’ shape neck rather than a 1957 ‘V’ shape neck. There is one small mark near the lower strap button which is pictured but overall this guitar is virtually flawless and collectible. All Electronics check out. The case is the original tweed Fender case. All hardware and feet are intact and working and the latches still have the protection stickers on them.
