Description: From Weimar Porzellan, made in the GDR (Western Germany), this set of two rimmed shallow soup bowls feature delicate gilded roses on a Katherina shape set with gilded rims. Note the center rose in the bowl has a unique coppery/red hue when viewed at an angle. Each bowl measures approximately 8 1/2" diameter at the outside edge, stands 1 3/8" tall. Condition Notes:No chips, cracks, nibbles, flea bites or crazing. Some minor gilding loss to the edges. No appreciable cutlery marks, a few light surface marks here and there from use, storage.
