I believe these two mugs are most similar to the Dunoon retired Devon shape of the “Sophsticats” design that is most often seen. But, please look closely at the handle. In these two mugs the handle has a little more refined connection to the mug and the handle has a smoother, scalloped shape to the “ear,” if you will. These beauties are pre-owned, but unused other than for display. Each is approx. 4” tall x 3” wide with a vivid pattern. No cracks. There may be a small chip on the back underside of one of the mugs. It is difficult to tell if this is a chip or a result of manufacture. See close-up photo. Dunoon uses a very high-quality Fine Bone China clay containing 50% crushed animal bone giving the mugs their translucency, whiteness and strength.
