3D Printed 3"/RSD3 Vinyl Record Adapter - Play 3 Inch Records On Your Turntable!

Description: Up for sale here is a 3"/RSD3 record adapter for your turntable. Now you can play the Record Store Day 3" (RSD3) limited release vinyl records on your regular turntable! Gone are the days of using rolled up cardboard, tape, and other concoctions to try to get your 3" records to play on your turntable, only to find that the wow and flutter is completely unacceptable. These record adapters function just like a 7"/45 record adapter - you just place the adapter on your spindle first, then place your record on the platter. The downside is that not every turntable has the ability for the tonearm to play very close to the spindle, which is required for the 3"/RSD3 records. I have a few turntables and my AT-LP120X will play the 3"/RSD3 records without issue. However, my U-Turn Orbit OA2 tonearm does not have enough travel to play the record. Similarly, these will not work on any automatic turntables, such as the AT-LP3 or the AT-LP60, because the tonearm will lift before the record can even play (unless you want to disable the automatic return function). An easy way to tell if your tonearm has enough travel to play 3"/RSD3 records is to pick your tonearm up and see how close you can get it to the spindle. If you can have your cartridge touch the spindle (or get within 1" of the spindle), then there should be enough travel for your tonearm to play 3"/RSD3 records. Now you can play your 3"/RSD3 records on your regular turntable, with your favorite cartridge, and forego the dedicated 3"/RSD3 record players. As far as I am aware, there are no adapters like this on the market, anywhere. What is not included: This listing is only for the 3"/RSD3 record adapter. The turntable, The Dead Weather 3"/RSD3 record, cartridge, platter mat, etc. are not included with this action.
