I have updated this listing to reflect this. THREE 1965 £1 pound Banknotes from the PROVINCIAL BANK OF IRELAND in Northern Ireland, Head Office: Belfast. The banknotes will be posted in a hard back protected envelop for Top Protection for transport to anywhere in the world. First Trust (which were once AIB and PBOI) have sold off their Archive banknote materials. This was in the sale. This is a Proof, uncirculated (but has handling creases) and undated banknote. A proof banknote is one that is printed to test the printing plates to see if it is suitable or not for putting into full production. Photographs 3,4,5 shows its security features. So it is a real notes. Lovely for your collection. Very rare banknote. NOTE that : 1954 / 1965 issues are never found in this high a grade.
