Description: Offered here is a small hand-carved Canada Goose miniature decoy that measures 4-1/2” in length, 2-1/2” tall. The attached head could use a regluing – since this was obtained with a number of estate pieces at auction I don’t know if it was ever finished by the maker, or if it was damaged by a curious “looker” at auction pre-view. The space for eyes is carved, but no eyes have been placed. It is carved from a lightweight wood and skillfully painted but because of the neck & eyes, is offered “as is” as pictured and described. The bottom is incised with maker’s mark and in box is written C. Bliss, No. 18.
