Description: EXACT item pictured/listed: 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers program signed by BRANCH RICKEY, BRANCH RICKEY JR, DIXIE HOWELL (a Red in '49, later a Dodger catcher) and HARRY 'The Hat' WALKER (Red that day) I've researched the crap out of this via scorecard lineup: Reds at Ebbetts, 7-15-1949. Dodgers won 11-5. (see Baseball-Almanac for more game details)Howell was in the Reds lineup that day (did not play, see pics) I've also researched the 4 signatures and am confident they are authentic. On the scorecard itself, the name "Paul Minner" is written (Dodger). It is MY opinion that it's a reference, NOT an autograph (kind of looks like a child's handwriting). Back cover: Harry Walker signature (1947 batting title, famous hit in 46 WS that scored Enos Slaughter mad dash from first). The program itself is in really great condition overall: Crisp pages & corners, no dog ears/folds etc. Not authenticated. See/decide for yourself. However, I'm confident it's legitimate (who would make up a Dixie Howell signature? Plus, he was in Reds lineup that day; did not play). Has been kept in 8x10 toploader, stored in safe with humidity controls. PLEASE: advise me if I've made any errors in listing!
