Description: Length 50 inches Color OD green 1000 pounds of tensile strength! These lines are removed from massive military g-12 cargo parachutes that have a 64 foot diameter. Generally used for heavy cargo etc. This is a complete section of 1000 lb cord that has been cut at the base of the chute... The importance of this is that the "guts" of the cord are still retained in this section of cord giving it the 1000 pounds of tensile strength. These are about 1/4 inch thick. Additionally these sections of cord have a sewn loop at the end. This is the end of the cord that attaches to the parachute harness for the cargo, to give you an idea of how strong it has to be. Great for attaching a D ring or carabiner to.
