Abeka 2nd Grade Reading (set of 14) Student Readers+many Teacher Editions (#58)

Description: This auction is for a set of 14 Abeka books for 2nd Grade Reading curriculum. Though the set is not complete, it contains many teacher editions and several of the supplemental readers. Teacher's Editions contain the same stories as in the student readers, but also have answers to text questions and provide Character Themes, Introductions to Stories, Additional Comprehension/Discussion Questions, Enrichment Ideas, and more (see examples in photos). I have listed this lot as a whole in "good" condition. See below for a detailed description of each item's condition. Books included in this lot: 1 - Story Tree TEACHER EDITION - Copyright 1996 -- This book is the teacher edition. The book is in good condition, spiral binding has normal wear and tear, covers have minimal wear and tear with a bit of curling on top corner and price sticker on back cover and name stamp on inside front cover. I flipped through the book quickly and no writing or highlighting of any kind. ISBN 95907001 2 - Hidden Treasure STUDENT Reader - 2nd Edition - Copyright 1986 - This is the student reader. Book is in very good condition, tight binding, minimal wear and tear to covers, no writing or highlighting of any kind that I could see. It does have a name stamp on the inside of the front cover. ISBN 54992007 3 - Hidden Treasure TEACHER Edition - Copyright 1987 - This book is in good condition, minor tears on spine as expected for a used book, tight binding, minimal wear and tear to covers, small curling or folding on edges of pages. Name stamp on inside front cover. I flipped through the book quickly and saw a few instances where sections of the text had been enclosed in brackets (see examples in photos) using a pencil. These are not distracting at all and do not affect the book's usability. ISBN 55018 4 - Paths of Gold STUDENT Reader - 2nd Edition - Copyright 1986 -- This book is in very good condition, small tear on bottom back portion of spine, tight binding, covers in excellent shape, name stamp on inside front cover. I flipped through the book quickly and the only writing I noticed were several pages that had the pages number circled (mostly in pencil, so could be easily erased) (see examples in photos). ISBN 19046 5 - Sunshine Meadows TEACHER Edition - Copyright 1996 -- This book is in very good condition, normal wear and tear to spine and covers, a few creases on front cover, minor curling on edges of pages. There are a few marks in pencil similar to those mentioned above and one instance where a couple of words have been scratched out in red colored pencil (see photos). None of this detracts from the usability of the book. ISBN 54984 6- Silver Sails STUDENT Reader - 3rd Edition - Copyright 1986 -- This book is in excellent condition, tight binding, clean covers. I flipped through the book and saw no writing of any kind. Name stamp on inside front cover. ISBN 55069009 7 - Silver Sails TEACHER Edition - Copyright 1987 -- This book is in very good condition, tight binding, minimal normal cover wear and tear. This book also has sections enclosed in brackets similar to those described above. Name stamp on inside front cover. ISBN 20966 8 - Growing Up Where Jesus Lived STUDENT Reader - Copyright 1988 -- This book is in good condition, tight binding, minimal cover wear and tear, minor creasing, small tear, and remnants of price sticker on front cover, name written on inside front cover. I saw no writing or highlighting when I flipped through the book quickly. 9 - Growing Up Where Jesus Lived TEACHER Edition - Copyright 1988 -- Book is in excellent condition, tight binding, hardly any cover wear and tear, no writing or highlighting of any kind that I saw when I flipped through the book quickly. Name stamp on inside front cover. ISBN 19763 10 - All Kinds of Animals STUDENT Reader - 2nd Edition - Copyright 1988 -- I will list this book in acceptable condition because my daughter got ahold of this book with a green marker (about 10 pages) (see samples in photos). About 11 other pages have had the answers circled or written in in pencil and then erased (see example in photos). Book is still perfectly usable. ISBN 55107008 11 -- All Kinds of Animals TEACHER Edition -- Copyright 1988 -- Book is in very good condition, hardly any wear and tear to cover or spine, no writing or highlighting of any kind that I could see when I flipped through the book quickly. ISBN 55115 12 - All Things-Even Frisky STUDENT Reader - 2nd Edition - Copyright 1991 -- Book is in very good condition, tight binding, minimal normal cover wear and tear, no writing or highlighting of any kind that I saw when I flipped through the book quickly, name stamp on inside front cover, price sticker on back cover. ISBN 56413003 13 - All Things-Even Frisky TEACHER Edition - Copyright 1991 -- Book is in very good condition, tight binding, minimal normal cover wear and tear, no writing or highlighting of any kind that I could see when I flipped through the book quickly, name stamp on inside front cover, price sticker on back cover. ISBN 56421003 14 - Handbook for Reading Phonics Textbook - 3rd Edition - Copyright 1995 -- This book is in acceptable condition. Binding is tight through page 98. Pages 99-128 are starting to tear out of binding at the bottom. Pages 129-150 have come out of the binding and edges of pages are worn from being loose. Pages 151-154 are missing. Edges of covers and pages have curling, and spine has a small tear at the bottom. I saw no highlighting or writing of any kind when I flipped though the book quickly.
