Vehicle Fitments Universal Product Information 30-3313: AEM has updated its petrol and turbo Diesel Water/Methanol Injection systems again, this time with a breakthrough injector design that improves atomization to deliver faster inlet temp cooling and use less fluid to maintain cooling. This dramatic improvement in injector technology is coupled with a new WMI pump design that is 100% waterproof, making it safe for engine bay and frame rail mounting. The V3 injector replaces the old V2 injector in all of AEM’s WMI systems and it can be purchased as an upgrade to existing systems. In testing at AEM, the new V3 250cc WMI nozzle and the V2 250cc WMI nozzle both achieved a 90-degree inlet temp reduction; however, the V3 nozzle design achieved this reduction nearly 6.5 seconds faster. Think about 6.5 seconds in a racing environment. We then tested a V3 250cc injector against a V2 500cc injector to see if the larger V2 injector would improve cooling speed. The V2 500cc injector achieved nearly identical cooling speed as the V3 250cc injector, but it required almost 44% more fluid to achieve the same cooling. Less fluid used means fewer refills of your WMI tank and less money spent regilling it. 30-3003: The AEM Water/Methanol Injection Filter is an in-line filter that uses a micronic mesh screen to filter particulates as small as 40 microns. This allows a cleaner flow of water/methanol to be passed into the engine, not only protecting the internals of the engine itself, but also the working parts of the water/methanol pump, too. Run the AEM Water/Methanol Injection Filter in-line before the pump to protect both pump and engine.
