Description: Allen Ginsberg Vintage Photograph Gotham Book Mart. This photograph came out of the Gotham Book Mart Collection and once hung on the wall of the iconic New York City bookstore. Original frame is also included. However the photo is now held in a rigid archival toploader. You can kinda date when the photo was taken (unfortunately for Allen Ginsberg) by how much hair he had. And based on how much hair Ginsberg has here, it's an early photo. Based on a couple people I've talked to plus the head of hair. It's around Late 1940s to Early 1950s. After that his hair loss was very noticeable. Condition. Good. The front of the photo shows very well. Moderate handling wear to the front and edges. A piece of cardboard was glued to the phote decades ago to fill out the frame in guessing. And it's still in there. Glue residue in rear of the photo. Cardboard has Allen Ginsberg written in pencil is not in Ginsberg's hand. Overall it's an incredible rare Early image of Ginsberg in fairly good condition. Please see photos for complete condition.
