Description: Alvarez 5039 Bicentennial limited Edition 1975 guitar. If you are familiar with this model you know that they are known for their high quality craftsmanship and just beautiful voicing-tones. Limited to 800 produced #355. I just love this model with its 3-piece back-Indian Rosewood and Jacaranda center piece. The Rosewood back is stunning, however it does have various minor scuff marks that are very difficult to photograph. Spruce top is beautiful and aged perfectly. Last 3 photos show small imperfections to the Spruce top (see photo). The ornate Mother of Pearl work is what draws me to these wonderful guitars. Handcrafted! The guitar has medium-low action (2.5 @ Low E, 12th fret) with room for adjustment on the saddle. Plush chipboard case included. I am neither a luthier nor a guitar technician. I have described this guitar to the best of my ability.
