Description: Charming antique 1890s/1900s Mother Goose hardback children’s book. Published by Hurst & Company New York. This is from the ‘’Aunt Virginia’ children’s series. The books in used condition with flaws. There’s some paper loss on the front and back cover. It measures 10” inches tall by 7” 1/2 wide. The binding is intact on the front of the book. The back is the book is unattached with exposed binding. As shown in the photos. It appears it may have been repaired based on the newer, white paper/binding tape. Please note, there’s also some paper tearing in places. Please see the photos for details. The cover binding edges and corners have some paper curling/loss as well. The front binding tape has some air bubbles. Charming and beautiful, color inlet page, as well as many black and white etching style illustrations. Selling as is/as found because of the condition.
