The Anvil is engraved with patent date of Jan 15, 1895.In good working order and free of any cracks or breaks.This unique Anvil Vise has a rear jaw that adjusts and locks into setting as Jaws close.The Vise is approx 16" long with Jaws closed.Jaws are 4" wide.Vise weighs approx 35 pounds.Jaws move smoothly. They are Sturdy, no wobble. Jaws close tight with a good grab, and no serious gaps. This is a great vise for any serious antique vise collectors.
