Description: Early bed post doll. Recently found in Ohio. I really like bed post dolls or figures but this one is really special. First this example is early and has a great surface. Lots of wear. It was well loved. Second, the face looks a little grotesque.Very uncommon for figures from before the mid 1800s. Nice oxidation to the base. Mid to late 18th century. No repairs. Unsure of the origin. Could be American. 7 inches tall
