Brass dome cover marked "UNION LAMP CO./NEW YORK U.S.A." and reverse "PATENTS MARCH 17-OCT. 20 1863." Fitted on a clear colorless Union Lamp Co. ribbed finger lamp with applied handle, underside of lamp embossed "THE UNION LAMP." Measures 2 5/8" tall to top of collar, 2 1/8" base diameter. This little Dietz lamp is in Excellent damage free condition with no chips or cracks to font or handle. Burner is in Excellent damage free condition with no dents, splits, breaks or repairs, complete and in good working condition. Reference Dietz & Co. Illustrated Catalog pl.38, first row right.
