Description: Offered here, U S Glass Co. #15086, a syrup in the pattern Galloway/Mirror Plate. It stands about 6 1/2" high with a bottom diameter of about 3 1/2". Although it is not considered rare, the Galloway syrup is not common. Also it appears that U S Glass used different lids and spouts on the syrups, so that the pewter lid here, with an acorn finial, is a distinctive feature of this piece. There is good evidence that this syrup was used carefully and often. The applied handle is sound and rests firmly on the table. Thanks for looking into my auctions.
