Description: Antique Navajo Men’s Silver Onyx Chief's Ring Sz 12 (?) Unsigned Not sure what the black cabochon stone is. It looks like black onyx.Many antique pieces are hand made and not signed. The manner in which the onyx sits and the FINE saw tooth bezel setting, makes this a remarkable piece. One side of the ring has a beautiful curving leaf that flanks the superfine saw tooth setting.The other side appears to represent the feathered head dress of the chief.Hence, this appears like a Chief's ring.This is a large ring. I state the Sz based on an educated guess because I do not have anything to measure the ring.Not sure if you can resize the ring too much. Perhaps a little. It is truly large and approx. a Sz 12.If Sz is a huge issue, please do not buy the ring since I do not have a precise measurement.It is most definitely more than Sz 11.
