Description: This is a wonderful antique primitive wooden firkin sugar bucket with swinging drop handle & lid. Has a fabulous honey wood tone. It measures approximately 9 inches height with handle down, 13 inches with handle up, by 9 1/2 inches across base by 7 1/4 inches inside opening & top outside outer edge of lid 8 3/4 inches. It is in nice age appropriate condition. Has expected wear & honest usage marks throughout. Small bit of wood loss at tip on bottom base banding. Wood loss on bottom edge of lid banding in one small section with drying line but is stable & secure. Top side of lid has small wood pop with a bit of wood filler added. Couple of scattered helper nails added around perimeter of lid. Scattered staining on inside with light attic odor. Please see pictures for more details.
