Description: Antique SCHOOL HOUSE Oak Writing SLATE Chalk Board & STYLUS Pencil GERMANY Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE SLATE CHALK BOARD & STYLUS Wonderful antique one-room schoolhouse child's oak trimmed, double sided writing slate chalk board measuring about 13-1/2" tall by 9-3/4" wide. Stamped MADE IN GERMANY, it is complete with a very worn and flaking chalk pencil (stylus) - I will include another pencil wrapped in old striped paper that is in better shape as well. Condition is primitive and worn with age related scuffing, spotting and wear to the slate - I did not try to remove this as I think it adds to the charm. The stylus was taped onto the board with old yellowed tape - I removed this, but there is a bit of tape residue on the slate - wood is pierced for hanging.
