Antique SPORTSMAN Fishing Tackle Box, Unusual Laminated Wood 1930s wooden Gilson

Description: Here is a Very Unusual Antique Laminated Wood Fishing Tackle Box I found in the Arkansas Lakes area. I'll bet it goes back to at least the 1930s. Who ever made it back in the day obviously put a lot of thought into its design with its rounded corners and lamination bringing out the best in wood. It would make a great way to display early fishing lures and tackle. The 3 lures inside go with the unit, but I don't think they are near as old as the tackle box is. NOTE: I got a message from a viewer that these were made in the South, maybe Florida and called the Sportsman, and a few famous people had them on their yachts???
