Description: This is a wonderful, maki-e decorated, iron-ground body armor by Honka. This is a wonderful piece of armor from the Edo period. This is an armor made by an armorer with his best effort, with gold lacquered navy blue threaded armor on the helmet, sleeves, cheeks, and body. This is a superbly crafted helmet made of 12 layers of well-made iron and lacquered. There is a front stand with a sword in a circle in copper gilt. The fukigase is decorated with a gilt copper-plated ring, and the fukigase is decorated with a three-jointed Tomoe pattern. The large size of the helmet and the metal fittings on the top are also excellent, making it a very valuable piece. The top metal fittings are also excellent, and the body is very valuable. The body is made of iron ground and lacquered with lacquer, then decorated with dragon patterns in maki-e lacquer. Of course, since it is made of iron, a magnet will be attached properly. In addition, the sleeves, baskets, cheeks, shinpads, and shields are all included in this wonderful armor. The chain mail on the baskets and shields is also superb. The armor chest with a moon ring design is also included. As you can see in the pictures, there are some age-related deterioration of the armor, such as fabric deterioration, some stains, thread snags, tears, insect bites and deterioration of the clasps, surface paint damage, and other age-related deterioration, but there are no major damages. Personally, I think it is in very good condition. The helmet stand is not included, but the armor stand is included.
