Beautiful Early 20th Century Hall Tree – Original Hardware

Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Early 20th Century Hall Tree. It is in very good condition, and even has the little metal inserts that are at the bottom and catch the water that runs off of umbrellas. There are some light surface scratches on the finish, but this is normal wear for a piece that most likely dates to the 1910’s or early ‘20s. The stand has the original hardware coat hooks on it. It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs. The wood is beginning to split at the bottom around where the umbrella wells are. This is also normal wear for a piece such as this. All of these details add wonderful patina to the piece, which is solid wood, although I am unsure of the type of wood that it is made from. The piece is 76.5” tall, 12.5” deep, and 36.5” wide. It is a beautiful antique hall tree with clean lines and a great classic early 20th Century design that would fit into virtually any household décor. It is a beautiful piece!
