Description: I believe this to be a African American reproduction Hilda doll. It has Hilda faintly on the back of the head. There is writing on the inside of the dolls arms as shown in the pictures, and a name on the upper part of her body but is covered so hard to make out. Bald head, blushed cheeks, ears, nose, chin, hands, elbows, knees and feet. Painted nails, dotted nostrils, open mouth with two upper teeth. Brown stationary eyes with lashes, and painted on brows. She does have some silver on left cheek, nose, and top lip. It may wash off, but I will leave to the new owner as to not mess up the doll. Hardly noticeable, but still there. Doll has bent knees and is not strung real tight. She will be wearing a diaper, pink dress (has a few spots on it) but not real noticeable. No socks or shoes. Doll stand and blanket NOT included, but I will send her little stuffed dog. I do not know who made this doll and I can't make out the writing, but she's just adorable! I do not know what year either, but I'm guessing the 1980's. I believe she is porcelain. Doll is approx. 15 inches tall. Please zoom in on all the pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding.
