Description: NOTE: All pictures were taken under natural sunlight, no color enhancements.Up for purchase is a beautiful, very large, 79 gram piece of rare, untreated amber from the region of West Sumatra Island, Indonesia with a ruby red violet color and an interesting region of creamy white when natural sunlight is shining on it. This piece has been polished. This is hard material and took a high polish.The color may vary depending upon how sunlight is striking it also.The piece weighs 79 grams (395 carats) and has an approximate length of 7.5 cm, a width of 3.8 cm and 2.5 cm height. NOTE: 2.54 cm is 1 inch. The color appears best when sunlight is shining on rather than through the piece and is due to the natural, untreated, chemical fluorescent properties of the amber.Please see my feedback.
