Description: This is a rare 16 ounce CRAFTSMAN hammer with stacked GENUINE COWHIDE leather grip. The head was polished and detail Painted with hammered verde green similar to original finish. The leather was lightly sanded so as not to remove the GENUINE COWHIDE lettering and given a clear coat. I’m quite sure this hammer was manufactured for Sears by Vaughan and not Estwing. This is a rare find in this condition.
