Beautiful Vintage Josef French Beaded Bag

Description: This is a Beautiful Vintage Josef French Beaded Bag Made in France.The bag is beautifully made with intricate bead work. The background is small white beads, with beaded floral / foliage designs with clear and gold beads.This bag is an estate item that we purchased some years ago. We have listings for a variety of other vintage bags, clutches, and purses from various eras, as well as antique and vintage wallets, compacts, an Italian umbrella case and other items. The bag has a press-fit closure, that is in good working condition.The inside is lined with white satin. There is a compartment on each of the two sides for lipstick, small mirror, comb or other items. The maximum dimensions are approximately 8 1/4” x 7". The bag has a beaded handle that results in a total overall drop of 12" from the center of the handle to the bottom of the bag.Condition The bead work on the body of the bag and the satin lining are in excellent condition.There is one line of beads on either side of the handle where there are missing beads as seen indicated on one of the photos in blue. The overall extend of these sections missing beads is about 3" ( 1 1/2" on either side of the center point), an artifact of using the bag and holding it by the handle over a period of years.
