Description: Vintage 8x10 still of Bela Lugosi in an early silent film. Not sure of the film but I have seen a similar one identified online as from Der Tanz of Dem Vulkan (Dance of the Volcano), filmed in Germany in 1920. Appears to be a high quality restrike photo, made from an original negative. Striking image of the young Bela, with great focus and contrast. This is a vintage darkroom-produced still, not a recent reprint or copy. Probably printed in the 1950s or 1960s. In beautiful shape with sharp corners, no tape tears, creases or pinholes. This photo is part of a large lot of Lugosi stills that originally belonged to Lugosi biographer Robert Cremer and Cult Movies editor and publisher Mike Copner, which I purchased some years back. Many of the stills in this collection were used in the production of Cult Movies Magazine and appeared in the first three issues. Many satisfied collectors, including members of the Lugosi family, have bought stills from this collection. Sturdy secure shipping is $5.99. See my other listings for vintage sci-fi and horror posters and stills, Famous Monsters magazines, golden age comics, and other cool stuff. I will combine shipping where I can IF you request a combined invoice after putting items in your cart and committing to buy. If you pay for items individually I might be able to give you a shipping refund after the fact but it will be less since I get charged commission on your shipping fees. Thanks for looking!
