Description: Beautiful, vintage Benrus shock absorber all stainless steel screw back waterproof type case, driven by a clean 15 jewel manual wind Benrus model BH12 ETA CAL1080 movement, with military type dial. 1160 Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean Benrus 15 jewel manual wind movement is signed: " Benrus Watch Co. Inc., Swiss, fifteen 15 jewels, model BH12, AXZ, 1080." Movement runs well, however has not been recently serviced or tested for precise accuracy. CASE: Clean, round, all stainless steel round, screw back, waterproof type case measures 29.85 mm across without crown, 36.00 mm lug tip to tip and 16 mm between lugs. Case back is signed: "Benrus, SP1063." Case back interior is signed: "Benrus Watch Co., Inc., Swiss, waterproof." Crystal is pristine. DIAL: Silver military type dial showing light aging and patina (see photos) and features luminescent Arabic numbers, radium hour and minute hands, sweep second hand, outer minute/seconds track. Dial is signed: "Benrus, Shock Absorber." BAND: Fitted with qualitty black stitched padded Norwegian calf band signed "Norwegian calf, JB Champion".
