This piece of needlepoint is French upholstery fabric and dates to the late 1800s. The colors are still so vibrant! This textile has an aqua blue ground with a floral pattern uring reds. yellows, beige, orange, and purple. This is a thick upholstery material and is smooth to the touch. We have the matching seat cover to go with this seat cover, search our store for "Blue floral needlepoint" and it will appear! Truly a remarkable find- I would love to see someone use this to refurbish a chair, but it would also be excellent for pillow making or for study! MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately Width: 20 inches Length: 32.5 inches CONDITION: This textile is in as found condition. There is some fading on this this textile with some areas being more vibrant than others. There is some pen at the bottom of this textile which appears to be someone planning the needlepoint design!
