Description: BOLD VINTAGE 3X5 SIGNED BY COLTS/DOLPHINS QUARTERBACK EARL MORRALL Offered is an exceptionally great signature example of former Baltimore Colts and Miami Dolphins Quarterback, EARL MORRALL Morrall has very boldly signed his card, in full: "Earl Morrall, QB Dolphins, 1972-76" in dark black felt tipped pen. This item has not been professionally authenticated as it was personally obtained (as noted on back of card) on "4/19/1995". Earl Edwin Morrall was an American professional football player who was a quarterback in the National Football League for 21 seasons, both a starter and reserve. He was the last remaining player from the 1950s still active in NFL football. Often called the greatest second-string QB in NFL history, Earl Morrall backed up Johnny Unitas, Bob Griese, Fran Tarkenton, and Len Dawson. Replacing Johnny Unitas and then Bob Griese, Morrall led the Baltimore Colts and the Miami Dolphins to Super Bowls in the 1960s and '70s. Earl Morrall died on 4/25/2014 at the age of 79. A highly desirable signature example of this outstanding quarterback, certain to make a prized investment addition to any vintage NFL autograph collection.
