This listing is for a vintage Brilhart mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. It is a Great Neck, NY era Brilhart, with the serial number 95732 on the side in the older style large font. This is an Ebolin (black plastic) version of the standard model. It is stamped 2 on top, but don't let the low number dissuade you. It actually has a relatively large tip opening that measures 1.20mm (.047"). Brilhart's of this era are notorious for having facing numbers with little correlation to their actual tip opening, and the openings are often much larger than the number would seem to suggest. This piece has not been refaced! This mouthpiece is in very good condition. The tip, table, and rails are smooth, and original.There is a very minor tooth indentation on the bite plate, but it doesn't require repair/filling in my opinion. If you use a mouthpiece cushion on the beak you are unlikely to be bothered by it. There are light scratches/scuffs on the exterior. The cork is in good condition, but might need to be replaced or adjusted for proper fit on your instrument. This mouthpiece has been cleaned and sanitized.
