Please note the following points: · All items are described honestly and to the best of my ability. · The item you are bidding on will always be the item pictured. · Precious metals are described as ‘gold’ or ‘silver’. Items that are of unknown materials may be called ‘goldtone’ or ‘silvertone’. · Many of my current items are ‘faux pearls’. These are not real or cultured pearls but beads coated to give the appearance of pearls. Due to the age of the items, there may be some unavoidable loss of this pearlescent coating. If it is obvious, or detracts from the appearance of the item, I will generally say so. · All items are in wearable condition unless it states otherwise. Any damage or faults will be pointed out in the description. · I don’t offer refunds so please check pictures and description carefully. · Older items will show signs of wear commensurate with age and use and may need a clean. Metal parts of older costume jewellery will often have a little tarnish and may need polishing to restore shine and appearance. · Postage cost includes packaging – generally a new padded envelope, bubble wrap etc. · The coin in the photos is a UK 10p piece to give an idea of size. I have not listed lengths – check pictures and description. ‘Necklet’ for example, indicates a short necklace length. If it is really important, please ask. · The jewellery box is used to display some items and is not included in the sale.
