With an MSRP of $19,700 the Santos de Cartier is truly something special. It looks great in every reference but the rose gold very quickly establishes the fact that you appreciate the finer things in life and have the ability to pay for them. It's elegant and sophisticated while still providing status and credibility in a stealth wealth sort of way. The curved case and extra thin strap are very comfortable and the charcoal alligator goes nicely with the rose gold and black roman numerals. Cartier has completely dominated the watch world with this one, in regards to their strap attachment technology, if you aren't familiar with it you should definitely do a quick search on YouTube. Panerai watches were probably the best for people who like to switch straps and bracelets, prior to the Santos, but this one requires no tools at all and allows you to change strap/bracelets in a matter of seconds. The neutral white dial goes well with all outfits, pops nicely against olive or darker skin tones, and it's dressy enough to pull off with a suit while still somehow looking right at home with jeans and a t-shirt. Hands down my favorite Cartier watch to date. If you can't afford the gold, the stainless version is an excellent watch as well, but if you step up to the gold I can assure you it will get noticed in all the right ways.
