Description: For you to consider is an antique Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain vase. Dating to the Tongzhi reign of the 1870s, this fabulous porcelain is artistically decorated by hand in polychrome enamels depicting a school of whimsical monkeys navigating peach tree limbs beside a bold waterfall. The coloration is vibrant and true against the snow white porcelain ground, was skillfully applied and shows no evidence of fading or loss. Standing approximately 10 inches in height on a 3.5 inch base and measuring 6 inches at its widest point, the mouth is 4.25 inches in diameter with a flared and slightly rolled lip. In beautiful heirloom condition, there are no chips, cracks, crazing, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections. A hallmark is found on the bottom of the base. A well cared for porcelain showing light wear commensurate to age and history of use so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing. Insurance included in shipping, signature required upon delivery. We welcome your questions and are delighted to answer! Thank you for looking!
