Quantities are limited!Large clusters of fragrant, creamy white flowers with yellow centers arrive throughout the summer months on this robust woody climber. Related to plumeria, Climbing Frangipani is an impressive vine with large leaves and a heavy vining structure. As a container plant, it needs ample growing space and a large pot and stake to climb on. With a little pruning, it can be easily managed and still create a sensational showpiece for the summer patio or garden. It has a winter dormancy when it becomes deciduous and loses most of its leaves but the plant has a tolerance to cool winter temperatures as long as it stays above freezing. This is not the more common species C. fragrans which has no fragrance. This rare, fragrant plant is not often found in the trade. Supplies are limited. Order early.Chonemorpha fragrans or Climbing Frangipani is a tropical vine that grows very quickly. When this vine's blooms open during summer, they release a heavenly fragrance that can be detected from over 10 ft away. These propeller shaped blooms are shades of white and cream with yellow accents frequently seen in the center of the flower..This vine is tropical and thus is sensitive to cold temperatures. In a sub-tropical climate this vine will go dormant and lose all of its leaves. Once temperatures warm back up, the Climbing Frangipani will regrow leaves and begin setting more fragrant blooms to open during summer.LEAVES WILL HAVE IMPERFECTIONS ON THEM!
